Open Sunrise to Sunset Daily. No admission fee.
The Nebraska Firefighters Museum & Education Center opened on August 14, 2009, and is dedicated to honoring the history and heritage of Nebraska’s fire service and to educating kids and kids at heart regarding fire prevention and fire safety.
The Nebraska Firefighters & EMS Memorial was dedicated on October 10, 2010. This granite landmark serves to tangibly memorialize & to permanently honor Nebraska’s firefighters & EMS personnel of the past, the present & the future.
The Nebraska Firefighters Hall of Fame is housed in the Museum, and the three inaugural inductees including Mr. Donald L. Smeal, Dr. O.C. Kreymborg, & Mr. Larry L. Wiles were honored on April 2, 2011.
