Catering / Alcohol / Entertainment Policies
Catering
If so desired, the Lessee may supply the Museum Director with the event’s catering needs, & the Director will personally manage the catering arrangements exclusively through Come & Get It BBQ at the Archway.
Otherwise, outside catering arrangements may be made by the Lessee, & shall be expected to adhere to the following guidelines:
– Caterers shall meet with the client and the Museum Director at least two weeks prior to the event to discuss logistics.
- Deliveries by rental service providers shall be made by prior arrangement.
- Caterers must:
* Have a caterer’s license
* Have a health certificate
* Have a certificate of insurance naming the Museum as certificate holder
* Obtain a fire permit if cooking on site with butane, steno or using candles
* Comply with Museum cleanup standards
* Remove and take away any trash associated with the event
- Supplying trash bags is the responsibility of the caterer
- All food and drink must be served and consumed within the event rooms.
- No food or drink shall be taken to any other area of the Museum or outside.
Alcoholic Beverages
– An additional $50 fee will be included on the rental amount for events involving any amount of alcohol.
– The Lessee may bring in beer, wine or liquor to serve to their guests, however, neither fees nor charges may be collected for said beverages, and a licensed bartender must serve all beverages. No self service will be allowed.
- Alcoholic beverages are only allowed in the event rooms and may not exit the building nor enter the Gallery.
- Consumption of alcoholic beverages by minors will not be tolerated.
- If minors are discovered consuming alcohol, or policies are not being adhered to, the event will be terminated immediately with no refunds given.
Entertainment
– Entertainers, musicians, disc jockeys & other groups hired or arranged by the Lessee shall contact the Museum Director at least two weeks prior to the event to make proper arrangements.
