Visitor Tours
Unless a guided tour is scheduled in advance, visitors are welcome to come experience the Nebraska Firefighters Museum & Education Center via a self-guided tour. Visitors should receive a brief introduction to the Gallery, its featured apparatus for that year & the interactive activities, & then are encouraged to explore the artifacts, information, photos, learning opportunities, etc. at a pace that is comfortable for them &/or for their group.
Kid-friendly hands-on activities, such as Information Stencil Stations, a Book Nook with Smokey Bear, a Hazard House scavenger hunt, authentic kid-sized bunker gear and a toy truck (built by an Omaha firefighter!), a hand-cranked fire siren & MORE are available for engaging & educating our younger audiences.
Take advantage of enjoyable age-appropriate guided tours which may be scheduled up to 48 hours prior to a group’s attendance by calling 308-338-FIRE(3473)!
WE’RE FIRED UP ABOUT HEARING FROM YOU!
